Brown Fused Alumina produced by the tilting furnace smelting method has many crystal aggregates and small crystal sizes, making it easy for abrasive particles to fall off during use. Its self sharpening and compactness are good, making it more suitable for the production and use of bonded grinding tools.

#46 grit Brown Fused Alumina is a medium-sized abrasive with high hardness, moderate toughness and good self-sharpening property. It produces low heat during grinding and is suitable for general metal grinding, semi-finishing and surface treatment. Featuring uniform grain size and low dust, it is widely used in grinding wheels, sandblasting and metal working.
